Marks and Spencer Valentine’s Dine In Deal – review

Guys, you know how I’m always going the extra step for you (it’s a hard life)? Well thought I’d test out the super-popular Marks and Spencer Valentine’s Dine In Deal to see if you should fork out your hard earned cash. I know… what a martyr eh?

Look how gorgeous these chocolates look -with a golden red shine on them (oh, and stuffed with salted caramel)

So for £20, you choose a starter, main, side, dessert and a bottle of wine or fizz – plus a box of chocolates, which is suitable for two. It’s not your standard M&S dine in deal – it’s extra special deal filled with shimmer and luxury.

There’s a huge list of delicious food to choose from, but I’m warning you, don’t wait till Valentine’s day to go (which I did last year), because you’ll be left with slim pickings. The deal is VERY popular.

I love a bit of fizz – especially when it’s pink

Like, do I really need to say anything?

My thoughts

I tried the Salmon dish, Beef Wellington, Asparagus, Rose Dessert and a sparkling Rose and it was so tasty, and a real bargain for £20 for the two of us (M&S says you save up to £15 with this offer).

If you’re going out to a restaurant on Valentine’s Day – good for you/ but also, you’re crazy because it’s busy and extra expensive. I never go out and far prefer to stay in, and I think the M&S Valentine’s Day dine in deal is the most popular one out there for good reason. It feels luxurious and special, and won’t break the bank.

OMG – this was so tasty, and the filet steak was as tender as anything. I cooked it for the full 40 minutes, but I’d recommend maybe getting it out 5 minutes sooner if you like it very pink.

What are you doing Valentine’s Day? Let me know in the comments (because I’m nosey!)
