Petrol prices are set to hit £1 a litre for the first time in more than six years from Monday at Morrisons. You’ll have to spend £40 at the supermarket checkout (giftcards don’t count), then you flash your receipt at one of the chain’s 336 forecourts to get the discounted price.
The last time that fuel prices were below the £1 mark, was in June 2009.
