Where to get award-winning Champagne for under £10

It’s an odd talent to have, but I am an expert at sniffing out Champagne for under a tenner. In my MoneySavingExpert days, I found a way of getting to that magic £9.99 number if you bought six bottles of Sainsbury’s own brand fizz, and used a 25% off voucher on top of it. I think they still run that deal today actually.

Anyway, you don’t have to faff about with voucher codes to get Champagne for under a tenner anymore as a bottle Veuve Monsigny Champagne Brut at Aldi will set you back £9.99 (or you can get a case of six for £59.94 online)

The fizz isn’t shabby either! It’s an acclaimed award-winner from the Champagne house Philizot & Flis – and has incredible ratings online.  Oh, if you run a Champagne house – feel free to invite me around.

Other Aldi fizz

If Champagne isn’t for you, don’t worry, you’re covered. It has Spanish Sparkling Fizzz (I know a lot of you will appreciate the cat on the bottle…) for £4.99 or £29.94 for a case of six.

If fashionable Prosecco is more your thing, you can get a bottle of Valdobbiadene Prosecco Spumante Superiore DOCG for £6.99 a bottle, or £41.94

REMEMBER: Yummy fizz is for life, not just for Valentine’s Day.

Have you tried Aldi fizz? What do you think about it? Let me know in the comments.
